Friends of Kunstkamera
Looking towards the future The unique building of the Kunstkamera and its impressive collections, a working monument to enlightenment, deserve to be preserved and to connect their history with today’s world of knowledge. The International Foundation of Friends is founded to provide material and immaterial support in the restoration projects of this museum of museums and thus to contribute to its conservation. Membership The Foundation Friends of Kunstkamera promotes the interests of the Kunstkamera, Russia’s first museum. The Foundation has an international membership, which includes museums, companies and individuals interested in the history and collections of the Kunstkamera. The Friends support special projects (for example, renovations, publications and exhibitions) of the Kunstkamera, in the form of both expertise and subsidies. Friends’ benefits include: - Lectures on the history of the museum and its collections;
- ‘Behind the scenes’museum visits;
- Free entrance to the museum;
- Discounts on publications.
