Congratulations to Vladimir Pitulko on defending his doctoral dissertation

On May 29, 2023, at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladimir Pitulko, Senior Researcher (part-time) of the Arctic Research Center of the MAE (Kunstkamera) RAS, defended his doctoral dissertation “Dispersal and adaptation of the ancient population of the East Siberian Arctic in the late Neopleistocene - early Holocene” (scientific consultant is Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrei Golovnev). Based on the results of the defense, the dissertation council unanimously decided to award V.V. Pitulko the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences, specialization 5.6.3. "Archeology".
