Lecture by Alexander Novik at Nazarbayev University

The head of the Center for European Studies of the MAE RAS, Alexander Aleksandrovich Novik, gave an invited lecture “From moral to market economy... and back: Anthropology of trade on the European periphery (the case of Kosovo)” at Nazarbayev University (Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan) as part of the Series of public lectures on Societies and Cultures, organized by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. A. A. Novik also took part as an external expert in the work of the advisory committee of the Master's Program in Eurasian Studies of the School of Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities. During the trip to Kazakhstan, negotiations were held on cooperation between the Center for European Studies and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of Nazarbayev University.
